Changed person

I used to be fat, used to be small
Used to be the kid kicking it all
Every time I climb only to fall
Now look at me, standing on top of the wall

I used to be the last one in my class
Failure is what I get from every task
Full of disgrace, I hid behind a mask
Now the time has come to gain back my trust

I used to be the black sheep among the white
Used to heat up the tension and sparked a fight
Shadow was my friend and darkness was my light
But now I'm a changed person regaining his pride

I used to aim for the moon but too busy gazing the stars
"Words speak louder than action" is the reason I couldn't make it far
It's all about the efforts, it's all about the scars
Now I'm polishing my own reflection from these golden bars

Sometimes the best way is to learn the hard way
You have to take that courage and leap out of your comfort bay
You won't gain anything if you forever stay
You can't be the predator if you're still the prey
